are you REALLY comparing an 8-5 and 4-7 lsu team to what they'll have next year?

Just trying to bring a little perspective to the doomsayers.

Are we hiring Les Miles or something? Why is everyone so worried that our next coach will be someone like Nutt or Miles?

Amazing...the attacks on Miles never end

Even after Miles whipped your tails by 41 unanswered points...Went undefeated in teh SEC

3 trips to Atlanta in 7 seasons...Bobby P not once unless you count his HC time for the Falcons!

What are you people smoking?

As we know now, this game turned the tide for Arkansas as Wilson went on to lead his team to 11 wins, a bowl victory, and All-SEC honors.

You should just stop hiring HCs and just go after really competitive tough QBs. Thats all you need to make it to the BCS. Im surprised yall didnt just make Wilson the interim HC.

Not sure. I know that they have probably figured out that the only way they will compete is by throwing it all over the field. They have to go after someone in the Leach/ BP mold

1. Leach's offense and BP's offense are nothing alike.

2. Succeeded in 2010 with a great running game. BP's offense is actually better when it can be balanced. Being one dimensional is a large reason for the Bama/LSU games being so lopsided.

id say talent differential and an inferior defense played a bigger role.

You're mad b/c you know that's not true. If we would have brought in a new coach who would want to gut the staff and what not, then I would agree with you.

Very little has changed with this hire. Vegas still has us as one of the top 10 teams most likely to win the NC. Sorry that Bobby's fiasco didn't ruin our season and give Bama an easier road to the BCS. Saban is still going to have his work cut out for him in Fayetteville this season, and how embarrassing it will be for him and yall to lose to an interim HC after all the shite yall have said about John L and Arkansas' season now.

Jon, it's back to Nutt Era shittiness. Somewhere, even Petrino is chuckling a little. This is going to be a lot of fun for the rest of the SEC. Not so much for Hog fans.

That could very well be true for 2013 and beyond, depending on who were hire to be permanent HC. But for 2012, Arkansas is still a top 10 team. :dwi:

The defense couldn't hold up (especially in the LSU game) because it was on the field for so long (I agree that it sucked though). Part of the reason that it was on the field for so long is because the offense was one dimensional. Being one dimensional doesn't get anywhere against those caliber of defenses. I dont buy the "talent differential" justification. If it existed, it would have existed in 2010 as well.
