I went to games at Bama in the Coach Bryant days and the fans were great. Bama fans were knowledgeable and classy. What happened?

I play golf with a lot of LSU people who are upscale and educated, wealthy. Incredibly, many of them are as delusional about LSU football as the OP's talk radio azzhole. I put it down to isolation. These people really do not understand much about the rest of the nation.
