1. Texas A&M - Has the best collection of wins in the conference having beaten Texas, Gonzaga, Kansas State, and Baylor. Great mix of youth and experience.

2. South Carolina - Hasn't beaten or played anyone of note, but they're undefeated, so I guess I'll put them here.

3. Kentucky - The win over Duke showed how much potential they have, but the losses to UCLA and Ohio State showed how young they are.

4. Vanderbilt - Good team that has played a tough schedule and lost a lot of tough games. They'll be fine -- best shooting team in the conference and great frontcourt.

5. Florida - Similar case as Vandy. Only losses are to Top 15 teams away from home. Not a good shooting team, but will play good enough D and score inside enough to win double digit games in conference play.

6. Georgia - Started off slow, looked much better lately with blowouts over Clemson and GT. Most experienced team in the conference.

7. Alabama - They've been a little bit lucky this year in close games, but that won't show on their resume. Good win against Notre Dame.

8. Ole Miss - Very inconsistent. Moody and Saiz are likely all-conference guys.

9. LSU - So much talent. Such poor coaching.

10. Auburn - Followed up a big win over New Mexico with a bad loss to Harvard. Canty is a chucker who will play them into games and out of games.

11. Tennessee - Punter is the most improved player in the conference. They've been a pleasant surprise but have nothing to show for it with a lot of close losses.

12. Arkansas - Good shooting team and Kingsley is a beast, but way too poor defensively on the perimeter to do anything.

13. Missouri - Blech.

14. Mississippi State - Howland needs talent.

The Gamecocks will be competitive. I think we still aren't playing complete games and that could come back to bite us in some games. We are not world beaters, but you don't want to play us.......

The "middle of the pack" is wide open right now. If you asked me to rank 3rd-8th right now I wouldn't be able to do it.

How is 10-2 inconsistent. We have won like 6 straight. We should be no lower than about 6th.

Going to overtime with Troy?

Your best wins are UMass, La Tech, and Memphis -- none of whom are very good this year.

George Mason is a bad loss.

I could see you guys sixth, but that's the absolute highest I'd put you. I feel there's a pretty big dropoff after 5.

Everyone owned us last year.

We're 6-4 in our last ten against Ole Miss, if that's "owning" though. And that includes our three worst years since Donovan was hired.

Settle down minions. Order will be restored in two weeks as we run through your schools like Sherman to the sea.
