Would you really consider baseball Americas pastime anymore? Or is it Football?, I love football but Baseball in the 20's was huge is it still the same today?

It's real if you believe it is.

Football is easily the most popular sport in the country. That can't reasonably be debated.

I think football is America's favorite sport, but baseball would be considered America's past time. You go to a baseball game to pass the time.

Baseball is America's pastime in the sense that it's there to pass the time till Football is back.

I'm pretty sure baseball still draws many more people each year, attendance and commercial revenue wise ... than does football. I dunno.

I seem to remember that football and basketball sell more apparel and shoes ... but baseball makes the most money, by far.

But does baseball draw in more money than football today?

I mean, when you get 81 home games it's kinda skewed. It takes 3 baseball sellouts (which do not happen often) to equal one football sellout.

When I think pastime I think what do you see kids playing in the yard. Kids just hanging around outside play football and basketball 10x more than they play baseball.

Kids play catch with football more than they do baseball.
