I predict Aggies up by a couple of runs going into the ninth and then Chavis loses it for them.

ETA - Speaking of, think we can get Chavis to throw out the first pitch? It's been a while since I put my piss balloon machine to use.

With LeSU's pending bankruptcy problems, probably should cut back on major purchases, such as balloons, alcohol, corndogs in bulk at Costco.

Aggies in attendance will purchase a few thousand dollars of concession items, just to help out the cause. Because we care.

Aggies take series 2-1. (like Kentucky did)

It's what aggy does with teams that get under there skin that are superior. We are now in the same boat as Texas.

I think Saturday is LSU's best % chance to win. Friday I'd give LSU a slight edge and maybe tonight give A&M a slight edge.

If LSU wins tonight i think a sweep is very possible but even if they dont I still like our chances to take the series.

Let's form a triad considering they have us in theirs as well. We just have to figure out how to incorporate some LSU related material. Also, to the LeSU people...stop. It's dumb.

And we'll put over one more win.

The subject line of this thread is ridiculous ... I'm assuming that most everyone knows that and agrees, in general.

It's hyperbole. It's side show. It's nonsense. It's silly.

This is not the "Baseball Series of the Century."

It's not the baseball series of the decade even.

It does have the potential to be a very competitive series.

since we are getting the weather a day ahead of Baton Rouge and it's been pretty stormy here, I'll be happy if we get all 3 games in period. I highly doubt either team sweeps as both teams have such good bats, at least one of these games is going to be taken with multiple HR's. My prediction is A&M 2-1.

On the school name thing, my father-in-law worked for over 30 years for DuPont in Laplace and some of the older cajuns called it LS & U for some reason. Anybody else in creole country ever hear that?

LSU ball coach on Brando Sirius 91. Seems like an impressive man.

Coincidentally, I also lived in LaPlace 20+ years ago. The only person I ever heard using that moniker was Cajun Comedian, Justin Wilson. (Besides people quoting or making fun of him)

I forgot about Justin Wilson, he was really popular in the 80's and 90's so that's probably where that started. Some of those guys from the small towns around Laplace spoke a whole other language!

Your intense hankering for a corndog will have to wait until the Texas State Fair - the corndog capital of the universe. Or, if you prefer, you may hitchhike to Nebraska or Iowa.....
