it was actually 6-5

a bit more respectable because that is only half the lead of 6-4

As per usual, Aubren drags down the SEC.

Well, unfortunately....at the end of the season, that still counts as a will and ours still counts as a loss.

....that being said.....there's still 55+ games till the end of the season.

somewhat worrying because our game is far from over

anything can happen when you start getting into relief early in the season

That game was what I originally thought that "Auburn Shameful" thread was about.

I think we've been to two NC series, or College World Series or whatever this decade, but we average about 400 per home game.

It seems like Bianco always has a couple of hiccups early in the year and they always seem to get really hot as the season goes on. They will be fine. Ole Miss has a really good baseball team.

We typically do. I think he likes to mess around with the lineup and positions till we find something that works.

My main concern is our pitching staff. We need pitchers to step up from last year. Rory McKean fell flat on his face, but we'll see if he can get his head on straight.

Matt Tracy stepped up BIG time in relief. Retired 8 straight batters. That's the kind of stepping up that I'm hoping for. He was actually supposed to start on Tuesday.

We'll still be very competitive, but I'm lowering my expectations for an annual Super Regional host to a Regional host and praying for a 1 seed to lose theirs.
