b/c a message board is the bastion of self control and moral high ground?

This is my favorite part. You have guns and drugs in the car and you argue with the cops about going on your way unmolested.
Well they know nothing will happen long term. Maybe some internal discipline but no games missed.
Can you blame them?

I've also heard that having a weed pipe can get you two charges, one for paraphernalia, another for the "residue". Luckily, I've never tested that theory.

It happened to me. Usually the paraphernalia charge is dropped if you cop to the possession charge as I did.
Wut? Possession of what, weed? Why would you plead out for possession unless you actually had weed? (Maybe you did but didn't write that) Seems like the paraphernalia charge would be better than possession charge; particularly down the road for a job, buying a gun, etc.

Bama has beaten Ole Miss 47 times to 11, which is 4.2x arse as many wins.
This thread is at 2639-470, for 3.4x the posts.
We need to get this thread up to 1,974 posts, for consistency sake.

It's actually sarcasm. But take from it what you will.

felony U

Non-violent offender U would be more appropriate in this situation, though I believe we all probably live in similar glass houses (besides the schools with multiple sex crimes (FSU, Baylor, & UT) which are kind of more cringe-worthy problems - though i doubt even those schools are seeking out people they expect to be predators).

They can charge you for possession for just the resin. I know people that were charged with possession for a cop just finding one seed in a vehicle.
Never hurt me getting a job. Have a secret security clearance and work overseas a lot. In fact I am in Afghanistan working right now.
It did frick me up on being able to buy guns even though I was charged with a very minor misdemeanor. Several years later I went to buy a gun and was denied. had to jump through a bunch of hoops including sending in my fingerprints to the FBI in order to get it all straightened out to where I could purchase fire arms again.
It was all good that it happened though. Realized I needed to get my shite straight and leave that shite behind, especially due to the fact that in AL even if your first offense was a misdemeanor, any subsequent arrest for narcotics is an automatic felony with a mandatory minimum of 5 years.

Well considering they had drugs, a stolen gun, and were mouthing off to the officer..
I'm just saying if it looks like a dog and barks like a dog.. it's probably a dog

The arresting officer will change his memory of what was said and the tone it was said in after he recives a brand new Dodge Charger from the winning ticket his wife bought at the 7-11. Plus his kids have free tuition at our favorite university.
I'm just saying it could happen.
