This is typical of a Saban coached team.
Don't even start with the holier than thou LSU rhetoric. It's laughable.
I can promise you this, it wont be put to a team vote.

I agree with this. But I think the price that will be paid will include not playing for Bama. Hopefully he realizes that he needs to run in a different crowd. Get that kid some time with Chris Carter or something.

Oh that would, for sure, be a huge loss. I'm really hoping he bought the gun from what he thought was a legit dealer and can back up some kind of story. I'm sure that's not the case, but that's my hope.
I would also be cool with him sticking around if he could just plea down to a lesser charge that isn't a felony. Considering this wasn't a violent crime, that seems likely. I don't recall him having issues in the past, but maybe I'm forgetting something.

To be fair, a gun bought from your buddy down the block could be stolen. Tons of black market, secondary market guns are technically stolen and the person with them has no c
To be fair??? Why the frick does a 20 year old division 1 football player need a gun either stolen or bought on the black market?
Oh, because they are thug criminals.
To be fair...

It's a felony if he's convicted of it. Lots of ways to defend. But continue melting.

Well, if the firearm was stolen and he stole it, then it wouldn't surprise me if he's gone. It's also possible he purchased it without knowledge of it being stolen.
Regardless, if he's a first time offender, it will likely be lowered to a misdemeanor charge.
Regarding the marijuana - I have a hard time caring, but at the same time if it's the law then it's the law. That said, the stuff shouldn't really be illegal.

Melting? I'm just sad for the kid making a dumb decision. I'm surely not melting. It sucks for our football team, but we'll survive. Sucks worse for Robinson and his future.

Yea, don't care at all about the marijuana thing. Marijuana residue is the same thing Nick Marshall was arrested for. It's pretty ridiculous.

I'm with you. It bothers me to no end seeing a talented kid put his future in jeopardy like this.
This isn't the normal "college students are dumbasses" type of deal either. Weapons charges are no joke.
