He had committed to Texas Tech before changing to Bama.

Is it just me or does Greg McElroy look much older than his age in that pic? He looks like he could easily pass for a person in his late 20s.

Just because you want this to happen doesn't mean it will.

Also, saying it over and over again won't make it happen, either.

I seem to remember that we started a new quarterback in 2009. How did that season end for us?

Also, regardless of our offense, our defense will probably be the best in the country. BOOK IT.

Alabama would have repeated as SEC champions and maybe even national champions if they had Blaine Gabbert as their starting QB instead of McElroy.

Don't sweat it Chick. He's just got an infatuation for the younger crowd. Some people are just born that way, I guess.

Bama defense should be top 3 in the SEC next year

Bama's defense was already the best in the SEC this year, and it will be significantly better next year. So, yeah, not top 3. More like top 1.

Alabama wins with defense. Next years defense will be loaded. Hell this years defense was inconsistent due to youth and still ended the season as the SEC's best. Next years defense has a chance to be Sabans best since he has been at Bama. The early national predictions have Bama and LSU as the early favorites in the SEC with Bama being possibly picked to win the national championship again next year.
