You've already shocked everyone by not having a starter a week before the season starts. Even LSU at least knows who they're going with.

That's ok, he's dead. Larry killed him. Probably with this post.

You did a great job mixing the time-periods there, Lawrence.

I see you go all the way back to 09 for the Texas game but Bama is supposedly 1-1 against Ole Miss.

We won 12 games with John Parker Wilson and with way less talent. We will be fine. Saban has prepared accordingly. Our defense will carry us if need be. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know football or the history of Saban.

BY GAWD...Nick Saban.

I can't believe you have lost a game....ever.

I don't think Bama will shock anyone with your quarterback play; I do think Bama will field a talented team of players who will be well prepared, well coached, and will give it their all...a typical Saban coached team.

Might discover schedule does make a difference tho.

I have missed the LSU schedule threads this summer.

And they seem to have finally lost their fear of Florida for some reason or another.

Read closely and look for underlined words. I said good up temp teams, Ole Miss did not get their system in until the last two years. Check the theme of my post.

The only reason Sims looked decent last year was because nobody could stay within 5 yards of Cooper he threw like 80% of passes to him last year. Green QB with Green WR could get ugly on 3rd down

I don't think your title matches your post very well. If our defense carries us, some people may be shocked, but it won't be shocked with our QB play.

Your thread title says people will be shocked about the QB, then the content of your post seems to agree that the defense will have to carry us. So where's the shock?

Lets look at the last few years on D for Bama.........

2011= 8.2
2012= 10.9
2013= 13.9
2014= 18.9

While ALL pretty good #'s ...I am seeing a trend... Bama losses at least twice this year....... Not a typical Bama team this year...Sorry.........

This is when the trend toward HUNH Offenses started outnumbering the Power Offenses. This will be more evident this year.

Your QB play last year was a WR. Do you have him on your roster anymore?

I want to know how bama fans feel about saban transitioning to a gimmicky high school offense, your d is good but no telling how many players get hurt running that hunh that saban loves so much and thinks is great for the game
