I think it's a legit excuse but only if he's willing to come to a random home game and do it at halftime to make up for it.

Because reading is more valuable than actually doing?

And plenty others were back at work by noon yesterday...so what's your point. That this guy is uber cautious and shouldn't be called cowardly? Sorry not going to do that.

Truly, after having to spend hours in a car with my 6 year old and make her walk miles through the snow I'm also offended people act like this wasn't an extraodrinary circumstance.
ETA: Seriously, frick assholes who think this shite is important.

Damn, you had to do that on thursday afternoon/night?
If he said 'becuase of the events of the past two days' then i'd be less inclined to call bullshite...because i don't know what he went through the past two days. But i do know that driving wasn't an issue yesterday.
Again, this is no big deal, but when bullshite is spewed, bullshite is called. That's what is happening.

So what, tell Gus he can keep the damn thing even if BAMA wins next year. BAMA is interested in crystal balls, not some rivalry trophy like the war chickens.

As you get older, you realize all of this is just drama. And I have no time in my life for drama. Much more important shite in the world.

AU's golf coach fatally crashed because of black ice just yesterday in Auburn and AU fans are acting like this kid is a coward? Wow. Great perspective, guys.

I haven't seen the black ice part. He wouldn't have been driving on that road anyway.
Again, not a big deal...but he could have made it there and back safely.

Quoting this for the auburn fans who ignored it/missed it. The road conditions are still not 100%.
she was also on a back county road, not a traveled road by any means

Ah. So the roads he would have driven on would have been guaranteed to have been safe to drive on. Got it.
