Nah. A trophy presentation during halftime at an auburn Alabama basketball game means nothing to me. Even when we win.
Exactly. You're proving my point man and you don't even realize it.

Alabama SGA was a no-show for the trophy ceremony by the way. Cited weather. I drove it today. No problems. Lame excuse.

Guess this belongs here.

Actually it belonged a page ago...where it was posted.

Shame on me.

You called me a sore loser. I'm just explaining that the trophy presentation means nothing to me. Not because we lost.

I like this part:

Auburn coach Gus Malzaln: "I'm here to tell you, this trophy, it's gonna be around here awhile."

eh, i drove from bham to montgomery yesterday morning and after 10am there wans't any danger to it.

Guy didn't want to go, had a built in excuse, everyone knows that the drive would've been fine, but he didn't make it. No big deal, guy is a coward.

Because even if Alabama wins the Iron Bowl, Auburn can just refuse to show up to give it back, right?

It's funny that you can honestly try to compare the two situations when there's literally nothing that connects the two together.

It's the end of january, both our basketball teams really suck, both our recruiting classes are going to be very good...what else are we going to bitch at eachother about?

Something has to take the sting out of us getting along to help eachother out of ditches/moved stalled cars on tuesday. If this guy has to be the catalyst to get us back to "no your guys sucks more" banter, then so be it.

But yea, I doubt anyone really cares. I'm actually probably more mad at your basketball team for losing becuase it just might, get our jerkoff coach another year.

I dont know the guy and don't care about this but you should probably read more about the issue. Schools are still closed. Obviously other people are taking the same stance he is.

Not really "upset", just think it was a douche move. I'm sure no SGA president, Auburn or Alabama, is thrilled to have to go present the trophy to the other team and sing their fight song. But you do it, it's a funny little tradition. The fact that the guy used the weather as an excuse to not go is just stupid.

I just think its sad anyone truly could think this wasn't a legitimate reason.
