Well, expect more of the same. The current neutered NCAA isn't interested in going after anyone right now. Bama has always been willing to pay top dollar for players.
Wrong board.
Here you go:

That's brutal honesty. And honesty is the best of things, especially for fans of a team they're truly passionate about. Honesty is what causes fans to be a net "chill" when things look bad when they AREN'T bad... and honesty causes enough UNrest when things are legitimately bad to force change.
I believe the math towards the road of championships is in the favor of the MOST realistic/honest fan bases. With one exception. Delusion is a powerfully useful but positive tool when things are bad and have NO damn hope of getting better for the foreseeable future... when your team sucks, and you have bad coaches, and a stupid athletic department... it's a great psychological method to "live in the past."
That being said, LSU is no where NEAR the latter. So, honesty is a solid choice from my perspective. I believe there to be no truer type of fan than your ilk. I'd be the same way. Sure, it's been good since Saban got here... but stuff sucked from Dubose to Shula. That was a really, really shitty stretch.
Great counterpost. LSU doesn't know how close they were. Get a QB and match his skills with plays that have a chance to succeed and you are 11-1 at worse. I'm not a coach. I'm just a fan but even I could see Brandon Harris needed practice throwing it more in those early games. A 1 dimensional offense can't win championships, well not unless you are Bama 1992. But, you have to develop some balance on offense and I posted it several times leading up to the Bama/LSU game.
Having said all that, losing Chavis was critical and that could be the real decline from here out. You are now leaking from 2 sides of the boat.

Well, expect more of the same. The current neutered NCAA isn't interested in going after anyone right now. Bama has always been willing to pay top dollar for players. The current NCAA administration and saban are the perfect storm for bama and as long as they purchase more talent, and have saban managing that talent they will win more games.
Not complicated.

meh, I'd say Arkie is your biggest nightmare. Bama beats a lot of folks. How the hell does Arkie own LSU would be the question I would want answered.

If you can't recover from a loss to Bama, as Bama recovered from Ole Miss or as they did from A&M, then the players nor coaches have championship character and will never win anything of significance.
The character of of a team is not how you handle winning but a loss. Obviously, from all the teeth gnashing over what losing to Bama did, character is in short supply at LSU.
This comes from recruiting a certain player but starts with your coach not making one game more important than the other and Miles has openly said Bama is the game they have to win not to mention the fans. We went through that with UT and AU in late 90's and early 2000's. We put our whole season on that. Saban's approach was it's another game, our routine will not change whether it's Charleston or Auburn.

Thanks OP. It's weird having lived through the Coach Bryant years and now Saban. I never thought I would see it like this again.

You are the worst poster on this board. I've never seen anyone so Bamasessed. You really should get the sand out of your vagina so football season would be more enjoyable

If any of that were true, why would Saban allow their in-state rival to get any players that could possibly make them competitive enough to beat Bama and make title runs. If any of that were true and Saban tried to stop it, then it can only mean that Saban tried a run at Cam but he was out bid. So either the powers that be at Auburn have all the info they need to sink Saban and Alabama but won't do it because they would also go down in flames, or...
...the more likely scenario...
...you're a delusional necktard.

Bama/LSU/UGA/AU/UT/FLA all get top talent. AU has 4-5*'s on their roster, they've hauled in the nations top 10 recruiting classes for several years - LSU has hauled in top 5 classes for several years - UT has recruited well since Jones came aboard - UGA/FLA have always had great talent.
The key is the man managing that talent.

It seems some of y'all HATE BAMA more than you LOVE your own school... it is amazing what total domination will do to your enemies.
