On Nov. 25, on the eve of the Iron Bowl, Kristi called Gus, very upset.
"You need to see this video," she told him.
"I already have," Gus said. "It's an Alabama-Auburn thing. It's no big deal."
He was half-right. John Phillips, an Alabama alumnus.....He edited it from about 45 minutes to 10 and posted it on the Internet. It turned out to be a pretty big deal.

North Carolina was very interested in Gus but backed away. Kansas was ready to pull the trigger but abruptly changed course. Both schools apparently had concerns about the video...............

and i dont see one stitch of purple or gold in that pic. Nobody is denying LSU has some terrible fans. Too bad you guys cant self evaluate yourselves without the delusion.

That definitely proves it since your tiny sample population is so accurate. I have seen LSU gear all over the States as well and Geaux Tigers in freaking Tianjin, Dubai, and Brisbane, but that does not make LSU the "World's Team."
You see freakin Laker hats throughout the damn world. You see the Yankee logo freakin everywhere. You see them so often that people don't even acknowledge each other because it is like seeing a freakin McDonalds, it's just freakin common place. It's expected to see them. You get "roll tide" or "geaux tigers" in far off locations because it is completely uncommon.

We don' t claim Harvey Updike as a bonafide fan, he's a frickin Hillbilly.....same type people who root for Auburn, LSU, etc etc..

I hate Bama for so many reasons, most of which center around your consistently pompous and arrogant attitude that makes you unbearable to be around and interact with. There is such a sense of delusional entitlement it is sickening.

He is the FACE of Alabama football, there was a BSPN special that showed the Nation the typical bama fan (in the nations eyes). He got more airtime than any other Bama supporter, coach etc in RollTide/WarEAGLE....
Also, Harvey is NOT alone, Many fans stopped him begging for autographs and photos while he was strolling up and down Bourbon Street this evening. When he is Ttown, they hail him as a hero..
