I'm sorry but I do not hate Bama for being good, I hate Bama because of the fanbase. The attitude that y'all are entitled because 1940 sucks. I would rather be respected than hated, but y'all seem to embrace being hated. Win with class then you will be respected.

The fact that a newspaper in Tuscaloosa actually took the time and space to publish an article like this makes me think this attitude is not reserved for the minority of stupid Bama fans.
Alabama is a great SEC school, with a beautiful campus, historically and presently great football team with a respected coach, and the absolute worst fan base in all of college sports. I feel terrible for the good ones.
The fact that someone could even conceive the notion that he is hated because he wears the colors of a successful football team is absurd, and proves just how much he ties his self worth and success as an individual to something over which he has no control or influence.

Who has the worst fan base?
LSU went 13-1 this year winning an SEC title, finishing 2nd in the BCS, and getting to the BCS title game. And its fans are criticizing the hell out of their coach.
Bama fans at least recognize a great coach when we have one. We had standing room only at Sabab's first spring game. Every fan base has crazies. Here's a couple for you.
