They do not use it for acceptance, I do not know what they report. Composite scores are usually 2-3 point more.

How pathetic that the university would even acknowledge the comment with a statement.

He was pandering to his audience. Anyone with half a brain knows he doesn't give a shite about Ole Miss or Alabama. He got under some people's skin and it's hilarious because he doesn't care one way or the other.

Yes. They most certainly do.

ETA - for ITAT Puppet, who's likely never even seen AU's campus "In addition to an evaluation of core classes, Auburn will consider high school grade point average (GPA), highest composite ACT or SAT scores, and answers to essay questions."

quote:

Composite scores are usually 2-3 point more.

The difference is not that high. It is typically 1 point.

Brokaw paid respect to Bama by mentioning them.. he's getting paid & played to the home crowd by using the Kings of the SEC as bait.

Guaranteed they didn't have a Q&A, Brokaw wouldn't understand half the questions asked of him with those butchered Mississippi english vocabs & accents.

I already used that line, in the same post you quoted no less. You're terrible at this message board thing.

I assume the University responded because they are building something and don't want something like that, which because of the person who said it will spread across the country, to destroy any positive academic PR gains they have made the last decade.........

Still seems pretty thin skinned. He was clearly just playing to his crowd. Guy goes on a TV show hosted and named after an Alabama graduate 1-2 times a week for an hour or two at a time.
