Yeah, we have a lot of young guys out there, thats what happens. I love this team. They have a lot of heart and they just dont quit. Also, the majority of them seem to be solid dudes that have their heads on straight. Classy bunch. This has been the most fun season out of the three, personally.

I think I read that this '12 team is 3rd youngest in the country. Speaks volumes IMO, that they have a winners attitude. They work hard, they fight to the very end, and they will NOT give up.

That's why if the o-line holds up, the 2013 team will end up being better than all of them.

Rocky block.

LSU ref/replay booth.

AU - Julio, all the conversions on the come from behind final drive.

TX - Dareus spearing McCoy.

My bad, 4 loss team that caught some insane breaks.

Although you could argue a 3 loss team as the AU comeback was something bama actually did, not a freak event or help from the refs.
Damn dude, you have a better memory of my team from 4 years ago than I do.

I guess Saban has had Bama on such a roll that I have a hard time remembering back that far.

Yep, no wonder every rival fanbase wants Nick to get his arse out of T'town. He has created a factory.

to me '10 was the most talented. Not the most motivated though...

That's probably true. They apparently spent the entire offseason reading their own press.

They finally showed up fully ready to play against Michigan State and we saw the result.

But.......three losses is three losses.

The 2010 team had a lot of talent but they had too many injuries, played a brutally tough schedule, and were just way too young in the secondary to be a serious national championship contender.

Nothing like AU 2010 did.

2012=2010 with a better QB and other teams being weak across the board

Not really. For one, this year's Bama team has one of the best offensive lines in the last 10 years. The 2010 Bama O-line was inconsistent and riddled with injuries for a good part of the year. The overall receiving and TE corps is far better. Kenny Bell, Christian Jones, and Kevin Norwood are significantly more talented than the likes of Marquis Maze, Darius Hanks, and Preston Dial. Julio is better than Amari Cooper but the gap isn't as big as it is for the other receivers. Also as bad as this year's defense has looked at times, they never would have allowed a QB tandem like Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee to go 14-20 for 208 yards and 0 INTs like the 2010 team ended up doing.

11 and it isn't close. I think 11 was the best defense we have ever had at Alabama and probably one of the top 5 ever in the nation.

Ya know folks, as a Bama fan isn't it nice to have this quandry???

Anyway, out of a sense of fair play we should start a counterpart Auburn thread...Which team was better 2010 or 1957? Mwahaha!

Talent-wise, the 2010 team was probably the best team in college football that year despite their three loss record.

As for the thread, it generally goes like this:

09
11
12

All you 2010 people should just become USC fans.

Both USC and Auburn showed this year that talent doesn't equal wins.

The 2010 lacked leadership and the will to win. I would take the 2008 team over them.
