No. Coach Bryant played for UA and lead the Tide for 25 years.
What Saban has done is insanely impressive, but he won't ever "rank over" Coach Bryant due to the above.

True, and the things that 25 years brought him/Alabama can't be replicated in a far shorter period of time.

had Saban played in Bryant's era with lax NCAA control and total control of the program..... he would have gone on a John Wooden type title run.
