twice, the third time a jeep was parked out front and chased us back all the way to 59. Never went back after that.
the haunted bridge is better place to take a girl though.

I have mixed feelings about this. It is definitely not the campus that we experienced in 2005 - and I don't necessarily agree with HOW big he is trying to make it - but I think bringing more students in to the University is a great thing.

The one time I broke into Bryce (which did actually scare the piss out of me) was with this hot girl that went to Alabama. I thought for sure it would lead to some awesomeness in her apartment that night.
But she was too spooked to do anything and honestly, so was I.
It didn't help that it was lightly raining with thunder and lightning when we went into an abandoned mental hospital.

Yeah, the only time I visited the old Bryce was after a friendly visit to a cow pasture looking for fungus. I thought it'd be a good idea to eat a couple in the field.

What an awesome land acquisition. Ya'll really do have a gorgeous campus. The interior of our campus is great, but the perimeter suffered under cheap construction and 60's-70's style...plus, it would take a SWAT team to reclaim the Northgate area for non-criminals.

A 2nd Rec center will be built on the site of Rose Towers, which is coming down next summer. There will be some dining options and a 2 level rec center with a wall of glass overlooking the river.
A good portion of the Bryce land will be used to alleviate crowding on the intramural fields, just across Campus Drive. We need to double our intramural field capacity, and this will give us that opportunity.

Hopefully they'll put some more forgiving grass in the new fields. I think I still have some strawberries on my legs from intramural soccer games in the early 90's.

Thank God Rose Towers is going. The new rec center there is going to be pretty badass from the way Dr Witt described it.

They will be forced to sleep on their bicycles. The University knew this in advance...that is why they shut down the road behind Gorgas library.

I'd heard that, but thought it was only a rumor. And we do need more dining halls. The ferg gets pretty overcrowded at lunch.

Who knows. It was supposed to come down after I moved out in 04.
