I've seen this type of thread for forever...even on Alabama boards. Some people actually believe that you can tell after 1 season how successful a coach is going to be. Read your Auburn boards and you'll see the same crap...you know that.

The reason Grant got a sixth year was because the admin was falling all over themselves to extend Grant after that early tournament bid. Turned out to be a hasty and expensive mistake. We won't repeat it. Be patient. After year 3 if we're still struggling, maybe the temperature of CAJ's hindquarters starts to go up but until then, I'll reserve judgment on his court performance.
Off the court, he's kicking Grants arse. He's done a fantastic job of being the face of the program, selling it, promoting it. He's been a great ambassador for the school. No complaints at all there and this was an area where Grant was absolutely horrendous.

Meh I've criticized him some because there have been games that he hasn't done a good job. That doesn't mean that I think he's done a bad job overall. The opposite really.
We get a "opinion on Bruce Pearl" thread way more often than we should on this board specifically.

Some People expected Pearl to take a D2 Roster and make the NCAAT without being able to recruit for two years
Typically it is the people who didn't realize AU had a BBall team and thought hiring someone like Pearl would allow us to be Kentucky
