Was it fair that undefeated New England faced the NYGiants again in the Super Bowl? How about wild card St. Louis beating Division champ Milwaukee in MLB this October?
I'm not sure what you mean by fair - but show me an instance in sports where it states "after a team beats another in regular season play they can't face them in the post season."

Both of what you mentioned were play offs. That's 100% different.
I'm all for the rematch, but do not try to compare this to playoffs in professional sports.

Especially since they're the only one that gets the chance. College football might has well go back to the days when the NC was settled before bowl games. The Mythical NC would be a more appropriate term IMO.

Actually it is not easy to comprehend.
Paragraph breaks make it much easier to read at a glance. I read your entire post and I agree with the content.

This was a thread between 2 rabid fanbases that respect each other and will be playing for a NC in 24 days. Bama/LSU was a friendly rivalry before Saban, and probably will be again after Saban, but Bama and LSU have BOTH always hated Auburn. So please see ur way out of this conversation. Note to LSU fans: Before Bama played UT everyone on campus was watching LSU/Aub. When RR scored before halftime, you could hear the roar from downtown to DCH medical Center. LSU had 102,000 extra fans that day saying Geaux Tigers!

This is so fking stupid. Its a fking football forum and there are people requesting "paragraph breaks" and complaining its "hard on the eyes". Wtf since when did the geek squad get interested in football?
There are plenty of political talk/english forums where you can vent frustrations about how one should articulate themselves on a keyboard. If you don't like it, don't reply.

Who else could even come close to hanging with them? Besides Bama, there is not a team in the country that wouldnt be a 3 score dog to LSU in NOLA.

the point is, the regular season in college football is supposed to be the playoff since there is no playoff. I don't expect an ignorant redneck from the state of Alabama to understand that though.

I never dropped that bomb to impress anyone. only in discussion of law or when someone said I never went to LSU

LSU agreed to the rules of the BCS before the season started. There should be no whining or complaining unless it's just sour grapes. It's just the facts.

I agree that LSU is having to beat Bama twice in order to prove their greatness. It will all be fine once we do just that on January 9.

the fact that we started like shite and still blew them out.
1) AJ couldn't make enough plays for Alabama at home, I don't think he'll be able to do it in a virtual road game.
2) Les is a better big game coach than Nick Saban, especially in bowl games.
3) Special teams is always a factor in tight games and Alabama isn't even on the same level as LSU in that department.
