As a proud Alabama sidewalk alumnus I take umbrage to this thread.

Actually I made a thread in March of last year saying OM and State would go .500 or better vs the state of Alabama. But to answer your question, yes, I thought Bama had the best chance to win the west at this point last year.

I agree. Bama is trending down while LSU, Arkansas and Auburn are looking up. On the surface, the latter two have better teams next year. But hey, Gumps gonna Gump. Ole Miss and A&M are the wildcards. State will reassume their rightful place at the bottom this year.

LSU fans have finally convinced themselves they'll be good in 2015 with a new DC and awful QB play. And apparently no depth, judging by the spring game score (since apparently that's the way to judge teams now).

Y'all act like this is supposed to bother us or something. This thread isn't about OM.

I'm sure that kind of futility bothers you at least a little bit.

Anyway, it certainly provides context about what a 3 loss season will mean for Alabama and how Bama will handle it, which is what you asked in the OP. It would suck but then we can just look around and recognize that for many programs it would be an astounding success matching their best season in decades. With that perspective, we will be okay. Ole Miss was just a good team to use as an example.

All are also winnable, how will you handle 14-0?

I don't know about that. We are quoted and interpreted quite often on this board.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the icon beside my handle.

Maybe a little. Just wanted to personalize the example for you a little bit. It's been proven that is the best way to teach people.
