Without swimming, Auburn's athletic department would probably be ranked among the worst in the conference as a whole.

Well, they are about mid-pack in Football, so give them some credit there.

No matter the sport, that's pretty bad arse to dominate an in-state rival in such a manner. Talk about demoralizing.

Break it down by each sport and post the highest accomplishment in each.

Sounds awesome - go for it. Quit being lazy.

That, and that's a one and done. Repeated success in a sport is much more impressive than a flash in the pan achievement.

So you list 3 sports and claim that represents the entire athletic department. One sport where even a Bama student trainer claims you have been cheating since the 1920's and another sport where the vast majority of your success came when not one member of the public actually cared about the sport. Brilliant logic from you as usual

You should check out his posting history as CC Tiger1... incredible stuff. Check out the threads started by him, too. You'll have sore abs just from laughing so hard at some of his evaluations during the 2009 season alone.

Put your money where your mouth is and prove the reason for the bammer chest beating. You all know their accomplishment off the top of your heads, prove it to the rest of the site.

I've already provided the statistics related to the only 3 sports that the majority of people give a single shite about around here.

If you want to dig into women's tennis or something to make yourself feel better about the state of your athletic program as it relates to Alabama and the rest of the SEC, go ahead.

Bama has 6 national championships, 29 regional championships, and 8 SEC championships in gymnastics.

2 Men's Golf National Championships

National Championship, 8 WCWS appearances, 5 SEC tournament championships, etc... in softball.

Women's Golf National Championship

I'm not doing the research on Auburn's non-revenue generating sports. Feel free to indulge yourself.

No, but I'd rather win 1 football game by 1 point than 112 gymnastics meet by whatever a blowout gymnastics score is.

While I want to disagree, I really can't.

8 in men's swimming
5 in women's swimming
1 in women's track and field

More than bammer if you exclude football

Why would you exclude football? Aren't we talking about the entire athletic department?

Just like Auburn's got more wins head to head than Bama if you exclude "the Bear years", right?

Okay... If you're making us exclude football, then we're making you exclude swimming.

Calculate that, bud.
