Danny Woodson was the starting QB for much of 1991 and he was fairly good at it. He just wasn't good at keeping out of trouble.

You don't become our all-time leading passer by being a back up.

Glad you care so much about it. Danny Woodson played in 8 games in '91.

Wow, 1991. Is that after Zow? Of course not.

The best player should start regardless of color. Is 95% of FCS schools racist for not having white RBs or is it only racist for the black guy to sit the bench?

Its a response to this
quote:

As to Bama starting a black QB, Bama prefers a certain race.

Yet, Alabama's roster is pretty much all African American. Oops

Pretty sure if I'm part of the nations best Wr corps, I want someone who can put the football on the money. No matter who it is.

Danny Woodson and Walter Lewis were in my lifetime. Are you always this disingenuous, or only when you are desperate to tear down Big Brother?

A lot of Bama fans had high hopes for Phillip Simms. He was a bust. It happens.

I can list the Bama players who want Blake Sims to start:

Blake Sims

That is not what one of their Beat Writers said last week on BHM Radio. He stated that Coker was having accuracy problems in their organized practices and Sims had the support of the team. My guess is that the AJC Writer got this same information.

Revisionist history? You have no clue. Did you forget to add the portion of the story where Andrew Zow beat out John David Phillips in 1998 and was a starter through mid-1999, when Tyler Watts took over for an injured Zow?

Yeah, they're divided into offense, defense and special teams.

Best? I have no idea, but a trio of Cooper, White, and Jones is a nice luxury. Not to mention the depth at WR and a talent like Howard at TE.
