a 1/7 model doesn’t work.. period if it can’t be a 3/6 model.. then do a 2/6 model..

or even a 3/5 would work - keep the important games tha fans and boosters care about

The 1 perm rotation we have been on sucks, always has

losing the UF/AU game was bad enough

I don’t give a shite if a kid does not see every conference for at their place - any rotation that increases the frequency of games with less common opponents is better - why does the change have to be so fricking drastic???

honestly.. the solution until ESPN does pay is to put Oklahoma in the East, Texas in the West.. play your division (7) + 1 across

That's as smart as Mizz. in the East.

there is one more solution..
you could agree to play DSOR non-conference every other year until it is resolved

CONFERENCE opponent = CONFERENCE game

Is there any possibility that Hugh Freeze is just clueless and doesn’t even realize that UGA/AU would be a protected matchup?

Lie to me, please.

It would never get resolved in this case. All pressure to solve it would be eliminated.

Hince my concern as to WHY the 4 year cycle takes priority over ANNUAL RIVALRIES!

DSOR 100% should be played
Texas vs A&M 100% should be played
Alabama vs Tennessee 100% should be played
Texas vs A&M isn't really important outside of the state. More variety in the schedule is a good thing.

No it isn’t. No one gives a frick about watching UGA play Arkansas, for example.

Just cause you are scared to play UT every year doesn’t mean the league should be allowed to shite on all the other great rivalries.

ok then go to the 2/6 or 3/5 model
the 1/7 doesn’t work

perhaps this is why FSU and Clemson are being discussed.. because then we will have enough votes to make the 3/6 or 3/7 happen.. and yes, I’m serious..

all of you mofo’s voting against a 3/6 are causing this (along with ESPN)

Seriously. There has to be SOMETHING that makes cfb different than a professional minor league. Idgaf if we didn't get to play LSU/Texas/bama/ole miss/etc but once a decade if it means keeping Florida and auburn.

Nobody is scared of anything. We were 4-0 against those losers when I was in school. You will probably be allowed to keep one rivalry. Just one, so choose wisely. The almighty dollar rules

agreed.. and that’s the way it should be
do we know who is voting against the 3/6?

Texas
Oklahoma
A&M
LSU
Georgia
Florida
Auburn
Alabama
Tennessee

all should be yes votes..

Perhaps Texas and Oklahoma can’t vote yet.. so it is 7-7 until we can vote?

Ok we choose A&M.
We will rotate Oklahoma & Arkansas OOC when needed to make a “9” game schedule.

Next question.

I'm okay with that BigBro. But the school will always choose OU first and foremost.
