Well you may be right, but I think it will take more than one win against Arkansas for complacency to become a potential problem. I don't think they over look anyone with a name like Ole Miss anyways.

Auburn 42 WAOM 17

OM possible missing 2 starting OL and their D gave up 334 rushing yes to Bama, 200 rush yds to Arky, and 311 to LSU. That is a bad trend the way AU has rushed the passer and ran the ball the last couple of conference games.

I don't expect complacency or overlooking Ole Miss. I guess my point is that they need to bring their A game because Ole Miss may bring theirs.

Auburn hasn't beaten a good defense yet and hasn't played on the road. this team was projected to finish last in the west by many of the sports websites so i wouldn't be as confident as you. lol

You mean like AU was picked last in 2013? Yeah, those guys are always right.

ok

if i was an auburn fan, i wouldn't be too confident. y'all starting to think u can make the playoffs it seems, with 3 SEC road games and a home game against what looks like a solid vandy defense.

should a two loss SEC team in Auburn make the playoffs if they win out? given the incredible hype for Lville, i think they could be picked over a two loss Auburn team, if lville doesn't lsoe again.

in my opinion a team that loses at home shouldn't make playoffs because they have a huge advantage and still lost.

Auburn is being overrated right now based on performances at home against teams with bad defenses

that is true.

I mean, look at Clemson--- we have played some really shitty teams.

A lot of this game will hinge on getting Swag to make some poor choices. He is an x-factor.

your offense didn't do anything against Clemson, texas am or LSU. that's kind of my point. when auburn plays bad defense, it scores a lot of points. good d's don't let u run wild. force you to throw and then bad things will happen.

That isn't actually accurate. We had about 400 yards on both atm and LSU. We just had an issue finishing drives.

Our offense is better the less people take snaps. Not just when we embarrass decent teams.

Auburn has the best rushing attack in the conference right now. Mississippi has the worst rushing defense.

Ole Miss will be playing from behind, and Auburn will only have to defend the pass. This will look a lot like the Arkansas game, except Ole Miss will probably reach the endzone.

Auburn wins 45-17.

Sheesh, I'm glad there is actually a few intelligent football fans here. The outcome of this game is pretty obvious. Auburn is a terrible match up for Ole Miss. It will be a convincing win for AU.

This is such an easy game to make money on, I would hope people would take the "free" money.

This isn't completely true, we moved the ball well on all 3 teams eventually stalling out in the red zone in each game. The LSU D is by far the best D we have played this year. We moved the ball well on them.

What someone who doesn't keep up with AU football might mistake is that our O early in the season is what our O actually is, etc...We know what it looks like when its clicking and it is just now starting to click.

We also know what a championship team looks like. There is a difference from being good enough to get a shot and bringing home the prize. As an Auburn we know what it means, looks like and feels like to bring home the prize.

Back to the topic at hand. Ole Miss with big WR's and a mobile QB will keep it close. Our best bet will be to control the tempo of the game by running on the statistically worse Power 5 Defense against the run we have played to this point in the season. We might not be able to do that, but any honest assessment would say it is highly likely we will. If CK turns it over it will be a long night for Ole Miss...it isn't crazy to think he might turn it over.

When Auburn beats the eventual east champion on November 5th that will be a pretty good point used to prove it.

again u are basing that on performances against two bad defenses.

How is LSU's D? Auburn moved the ball up and down the field on LSU. We just couldn't find the end zone. Our red zone problems seem to have been fixed. Now if you think Auburn has the same O that you saw against Clemson, then you have not been paying attention.
