Guice "seems" to be a pretty good RB?

He:
Is the fastest LSU player in history to 1,000 yards with 113 carries

Holds the LSU record for longest run (96), most yards in a game (285) and is the only player in LSU history and the 2nd player in SEC history to have two 250 yard games in the sane season.

Would be #1 in career yards per carry by a RB in conference history, but is 65 carries short of the 300 carry threshold.

Led the SEC in rushing yards and all purpose yards in 2016.

Yeah, he seems pretty good.

I think this is going to be a great game. It really does seem like a fairly even match up if both teams are the real deal.

If Auburn is undefeated coming into this one, I will expect a slugfest. Even if Clemson manages to pull one out on them, if that's their only loss, it should be close.

Same for LSU. If we are undefeated going into this one, with a convincing win in The Swamp, then I expect this to be a dog fight.

The homer in me wants to continue the trash talking about how Auburn can't win in Tiger Stadium, but more often than not, the better team wins this match up.

I hope it's a night game.

crap, i forgot this is SECRANT...

I LIKE TRUCKS AUBURN SUCKS. Refs aren't going to ruin this game, Aubies! Your dreams will die on this field!

So what is it you want us to get? You have proof that Auburn is the better team this year or something?

LSU wins if they have Arden Key back and can consistently put pressure on him or White. Their secondary will be fine. If you're going to beat LSU you have to be able to run the ball. I think due to what Alabama has done to LSU on the ground they likely focus their defending efforts improving their run defense with their front four this offseason. I think they beat Auburn by 10. If Auburn wins, they'll likely get to Alabama game with only 1 or 2 losses. If LSU loses I think that could send them into a tail spin. Just my opinion.

Not in the least.

I think the two teams are evenly matched. LSU has the overall talent edge, and the obvious HFA. The fact the game is far later in the season than it has been in years is the big variable - the two teams could be headed in opposite directions by the time October 14th rolls around. Personally, I think its far too early to accurately guess at an outcome.

The point I was making all along is that the better team almost always wins, and the idea that somehow LSU has beaten superior AU teams in Red Stick is largely a myth - since the Earthquake Game it's happened only once, in 1995. Every other LSU victory has come when they entered the game with higher rankings and higher expectations.

LSU's d-line has some depth to it for the first time in a while.

And I can understand LSU fans being optimistic about the offense this year. The past 3 OC's at LSU have all put up the best numbers in their first season.

Steele is underrated as a defensive coach imo.
