Expectations low for Auburn this season. You know what that means

Sadly, you're right.

I'm actually planning to work on preparing myself mentally for this all off season so MAYBE I won't be as disappointed when the inevitable PuntBamaPunt, CamBack or KickSix happens.

I see 2-2 with wins against Texas A&M and Arkansas State, losses against LSU and Clemson.

Likely 2 blowout losses...

Literally no outcome would surprise me for this season. Auburn's gonna be like that friend that starts driving backwards on Mario Kart just to frick with everyone else

3-1 with wins over Clemson, LSU and TAMU....loss to Arky State when Gus decides to give Heisman hopeful Jeremy Johnson the start.

Clemson may well blow them out. LSU is not blowing Auburn out at Auburn. It's never happened. Ever. Largest margin of victory for LSU at Auburn was 20-6 in 1973. IF we beat them at all, it will be, as always when we beat them at their place, a close game.

AU will be much better on Defense than last year. They will be better at RB and OL, equal or better at WR. The key as always is at QB. It is a problem that everyone except Clemson and Ole Miss on their schedule share.

That's what I've been saying. But the more I think about the Clemson game, I think it's a prime candidate for some #Clemsoning. They're likely pre-season #1 and have the Heisman favorite at QB. We're coming off a disappointing season with most people predicting another one and no answer at QB. Game is at JHS.

AU is going 13-0 (can't predict playoffs this early)

It should go through this state IMO. I just don't see it in LSU with Harris at QB, the Mississippi schools and Arky all lost a ton and will be down, and A&M is a mess.

Of course I say this knowing that AU's season is contingent on if we find a passing game. I think the QB play will be adequate, but only IF we have a couple playmakers step up at WR. The rest of the team is plenty talented enough to contend for the West.

Maybe so. But no one seems to have tempered expectations. But maybe they shouldn't when even the team that finishes 7th will have paid their head coach 4 million to do so.

Arkansas will probably be a pre-season top 25 team and returns its entire defense and front 4 rotation. As well as returning its entire WR core, 6th year senior at RB, and 3 experienced OL.

Arkansas returns 17/22 starters

That isn't losing a ton
