Again how was the Auburn game different from a playoff? You can have all these silly arguments even with a playoff. What does the regular season PROVE? What does a playoff PROVE?

How is it illogical to believe that better teams lose games sometimes? It is illogical to believe the opposite. If you believe the better team always wins' how do you deal with the fact that LSU beat auburn?

I'm just going to go ahead and say that I would have melted if Auburn had to play a rematch with Alabama in a playoff. I sure am glad that the playoff waited a couple years.

Agree, Tiger skin. Nothing is Proven. It's about winning, which is why I say they deserve to be there. All the talk about who the better team is, is simply my opinion that doesn't matter in the grand scheme.

We are not champions of anything this year, moral victories or otherwise.

By the way, if UGA doesn't give you the freak tip play and you lose, I'd be saying that the better team lost in that one too.

I think that is possible. I just find it illogical for a dominating run team like Bama to say they were better after getting out rushed by 75 yards. That my friend is illogical

Measuring rushing yards and ignoring total yards in a game where one team rarely passes makes absolutely nosense to me, iI'm not engaging in that argument, it's idiotic.

Actually I heard a clip on the radio this morning of saban saying that they've been champions every year they've been there, whether it's independnece bowl champions or national champions.

Still could be sugar bowl champions.

And if we don't give up 21 points in the 4th we're never in that situation.

If the refs called it right (in my biased opinion) murray doesn't score.

If we only played 3 quarters we'd have destroyed them.

if the game was only 58 minutes long we lose.

i think you get the point.

Auburn had more total yards in that game, as well

On what basis does auburn believe they are better than LSU? That game wasn't even tight.

You can't play it both ways. If auburn is better than LSU, then you have to point to something more than one game's score to make the case they are better than Bama. It's not a difficult concept when you slow down and think about it.

I'll give it a shot.

We got better as the season went on.

we certainly weren't better when we played them. The better team won that game.

Dont act like rushing yards aren't more important. Your own head coach knows that. When you can run at will you control the game.

Man lets let them enjoy playing for the title and hopefully we can enjoy watching them get beat. Even then it will still say we are second best.

Well they did beat you.
