Meh, just makes it worse. You lose, you lose. In some situations a team can survive a loss and go on to play for the NC. That wasn't the situation Bama was in. Didn't get it done. Can't win them all. Etc. Etc.

Auburn had the best team in 2004... we still got nothing, but we at least did not lose a game... Bama lost, get over it...

Auburn may be the "champion" that was determined "on the field" with "talent, preparation, and coaching", but Alabama is the BEST TEAM. Everyone knows how best they are. Roll tide.

I don't know anyone who disagrees that auburn deserves to be there. The better team doesn't always win, but there can be no complaints when you lose a fair game.
I think when you look beyond that one game, you can come to a different conclusion. If UGA knocks the ball down, everything is completely different. The most deserving team is there, but I don't believe they are the best team in the SEC. Several games point to that.
