Your QB looks like a great passer, but isn't Gus's offense designed around a running threat at QB as much as a passer? If so, do you see him being a legit threat or is Gus editing the O for him?

He's a true dual threat QB. He's not a Cam or Marshall, but he's a very capable runner too.

This should officially put AU in the lead for pre-season champs. LSU in 2nd and UT 3rd.

It must be hard for Pawl to see film between Little Nicky's legs! You know nothing Paul Finebaum!

He either looks like he was right, or, even better for him, he looks wrong and gets to act shocked about how bad Auburn is compared to expectations. He doesn't know shite about what Auburn will do, but he knows how to set up reactions from his listeners.

Bingo. Every prediction or opinion he makes is calculated in that way.

Every year auburn is supposed to do well, they don't.

Any year they happen to be under the radar, they surprise.

I think they'll be good, but they'll find a way to mess it up.

That settles it. The kid picked last for every sporting event in his life has to be right. Besides, he doesn't play favorites, he roots for the dollar bill. Oh, wait.

Give Gus that '09/'10 o-line this season and AU's offense will the firing on all cylinders.

The same Finebaum who initially White-Knighted for Freeze and Ole Miss

He was toting the water for CHF and the sincerity of Hugh's mission

Paul really has a finger on the pulse of reality

We are basically the Dallas Cowboys of the SEC.

The only question I have with auburn this year is receiver. I don't think they have that Sammy Coates deep threat guy, or a dominant slot receiver. I think they're going to try and air raid it this year. They could have a very good year, but they also got extremely lucky in 13, and they did it with the read option and deep threats. This team doesn't look like that. They will definitely be in the convo, but I wouldn't crown em yet.

This is about as deep as I've ever seen this team at receiver, especially with K. Davis back. The problem last year was somebody getting them the ball.

This years team has very good running backs, above average OL and depth at wide receiver (deep ball threats). It all depends on the QB, which has been the problem the last few years.

above average OL

I am not sure the stats against elite competition would support that assertion. The OL beat up on below average DL's and did fair against decent DL's and terrible against elite. I wouldn't define them as above average.

The OL play has been poor since 2014. It was over looked due to NM being a wizard in 2014 and the QB play being below average in 2015-2016.

Auburn is loaded with WR talent. They signed a killer 2016 WR class.
