Intresting, I would equate Auburn hiring Muschamp as a similar to Bama hiring Lane Kiffin.

Long story short, people respect Muschamp.

I also don't think Kiffin wants to be a HC - but I'm just speculating

Is he from Auburn? Because in his whole coaching career he coached there two seasons. I would hardly call that home.

That might have been true last night but in two of Auburn's losses this year auburn scored less than 24 points. Defense has to better than just "good" to win those two games. I really think AU fans think they can get an average defense and simply walk away with the title every year.

AUs Offense was constantly under pressure to score on every possession the last half of the year. Play selection was effective and fatigue set in. With this years schedule, the starters had to play 90% of the time, with the added pressure to produce. An average Defense will provide 3-4 additional possessions each game. I like those chances with Gus's Offense.

No way in hell would I go to Auburn if I was Muschamp.

1) Its always gonna be about the offense as long as Malzahn is there.

2) The defense is always gonna be under pressure with a HUNH offense.

3) Its a no win situation....success is gonna be credited to the offense and failure is gonna be directed at the defense..

South Carolina I think would be the better DC job

No, Lsu has been far more consistent. Why you ask? Because they don't fire everyone whenever we beat them.

An idiot like you would forget the 900 pound gorilla in the room. A&M is the best available DC job, and will definitely be the highest paying job open.

Auburn barely has any talent in that secondary and D-line. That is the biggest problem.

If Carl Lawson comes back healthy, he is likely better than anybody Florida will have on their defensive line next year. Auburn is also in the running for the #1 juco defensive lineman and landing a big name like Muschamp would likely boost that along

Not absolutely positive about it, but I have heard Muschamp's wife is an Auburn grad

Something I haven't seen brought up yet: Muschamp and Jay Jacobs reportedly LOATHE each other. Lots of bad blood in that relationship.

Keep laughing into your blue collar lunchpail, rock crusher. The Ags have laid our checkbook dick-by-proxy onto the table and your little chode church-fund bank account can't keep up.

you just named one person who would be coming back from a serious injury, and a juco recruit who's gonna end up at Carolina. Oh, and a D-Line is made up of more than one person.
