Muschamp is the best dc in college football. Is this somehow close to the truth? Why?

I don't think Muschamp is at all un-hirable as a head coach. That's the main reason I think he won't be at Auburn.

Auburn's real problem is trying to keep up with a current and ongoing dynasty at a better overall program.

Most people are seeing that all you need is a good hunh offense and remotely good defense to beat Saban.

Right now there is no program viewed as highly as Auburn looking for a DC and who wouldn't want to be remembered as part of the staff that forced the almighty Saban into retirement.

Just also remember that Saban doesn't beat many teams that people view as great. Fortunately for him this is one of those years there isn't any. But maybe Winston or Mariota will get hurt in the first Drive and he'll have a chance.

If Boom goes to Auburn, look out.

Say what you want about his offenses at UF, but if he gets that Auburn defense going...

Ellis Johnson had USCe playing great defense during his time there. Here goes to a team with the HUNH and suddenly he is a bum. As stated earlier, the HUNH is the death nail for DC's. Mushchamp will not bite the hook.

I believe Mike Slive is retiring so Saban may be screwed.
