How is it possible that there isn't one single position on the team that will be worse than last season?

Was thinking the same

Two possibilities-

1. He does not know what the frick he is talking about.

2. It possibly could not get much worse than what we had last year.

Defense much improved

Offensively a few question marks

QB- Really not sure
RB- Top tier
HBack- Have some good ones there
OG- Top tier
C- ???
OL- ???
WR= ??? We have some talent coming in and Davis, Stevens, Slayton, and Smith should be at the very least solid (cross fingers).

ST- solid to really good (Carlson a stud)

Bottom line is we really don't know anything about our team minus a few key players.

With that said

15-0 Ship!

So essentially you are better at everything and you aren't too worried about anyone except LSU and Alabama in the West?

Exactly. We return a lot and lose little. Arkansas, Ole Miss, and MSU all lose a lot. Our games with them were extremely close last year, so that tips the scales in our favor. Texas A&M will continue to be a dumpster fire.

And if we're being honest, a major factor in the decision to label LSU a toss-up was to not upset the natives.

Looks like Steele has the Defense playing good ball holding the Offense to 1-for-22 performance on third down in the spring game.

I hope so.

I love TTs.

Wide receiver is definitely a downgrade.

Unless Kyle Davis, Eli Stove or Nate Craig-Myers come in ready to play in year 1, we are relying on Tony Stevens, Marcus Davis, Ryan Davis, Stanton Truitt, Darius Slayton, Jason Smith and more Oompa Loompas.

Better on Defense as a unit, better OL and RBs, young at WR and the unknown at QB. Could be a good year if we get decent play from the QB, but that could be said by at least 6 SEC Teams.

WR is probably the easiest position to come in and make an impact right away, and we just brought in 4 really good ones, plus Darius Slayton. New WR coach that's actually played the position before.

Davis is solid, just not big enough to be a #1. Could be similar to Terrell Zachery if used right IMO. Smith showed flashes last year.

It'd be almost impossible to get less out of our WRs than we did last year. There's no room for a downgrade, the only way to go is up.

Personally I think 5-7 is a very real possibility given the QB situation and our hellacious schedule. This is a year I'm going into with very low expectations, with the slightest sliver of hope that I'm just being pessimistic.

We went 7-6 last year. We will be better this year. How much depends on redzone play calling

We have no idea. Gus treats football info like nuclear secrets.

I do not except much progress based on the shite show that was Aday.

IMO Sean White will start and John Franklin III & out will come into run the wildcat and frick up the flow of the offense.

I agree with all of this. We looked like sloppy hot shite on ADay and all 4 or 5 quarterbacks looked really bad too.

Going 1-3 out of the gate is very possible. A serious skulldragging by Clemson could set a very bad tone for the season

True. But when have you ever seen Gus Malzahn allow a true freshman WR to make an impact. Only tFr I can remember ever playing for senioritis Gus was Dyer after Fannin kept fumbling the ball away.
