Maybe the Auburn WRs just aren't that talented?

I mean, seriously.

Coates made it to the NFL. Duke is a head case. Ricardo Louis was always a good athlete but never really a WR. Wasn't the next guy in line a 28 year old that came back from MLB or some shite?

Not really a lot of talent from an outsider's perspective.

He serves the role as the players go to coach with any problems. I do not know if LSU has someone to fill that role. Mobile has a lot of talent next year, so he will pay dividend at least for one year.

That's why it doesn't make sense unless Les is bringing him in to add some crinkles to the offense and give Craig some input with Cam.

Beats me I'm as confused as you as to why Arkansas fans are so rustled.

AU had enough talent to be much more productive this year. Route running was the major issue the last three years. Coates could run pass players, but could not make the over the middle catch. Duke could make those catches, but ran lazy routes.

I wouldn't put Duke's work ethic on any coach. I think we can all say he has character issues..

Great recruiter and I think a pretty good QB coach who was relegated to coaching WR. He's one of my favorites AU players of all time. I will be highly disappointed in Gus, Jacobs and Auburn if they let him leave.

I am talking about plays where he caught the ball. AU will have three WRs off the 2014 team make NFL Rosters. Talent was there.

We aren't loaded with 5* but there is too much talent there for them to be dropping so many balls and not making plays when they have the chances. Ours routes aren't that complex. Alot of Coates to the NFL was his athleticism and size.

I like DC and won't be mad at him if he leaves but aside from Coates none have really even lived up to their talent.

I know it's difficult to learn that your possible WR coach is an average coach at the position, but he had three years to develop some talented WR's and yes our QB's looked bad. There were a couple of games White threw many passes in receivers hands and they were dropped.

Our receivers don't seem to get separation, poor route running, or know how to help a QB in trouble.

Those are coaching flaws. DC would make a better QB coach, and probably ready to jump to OC.

He is a great recruiter. Sub-par WR coach. That will not matter because all LSU does is throw the ball up for grabs and have your WRS go get it.

Many Auburn fans say that DC is a good QB coach. They have no proof of this claim. They usually Point to FSU but Jimbo was the QB coach there. If someone cannot coach an easy position like WRs, how can they coach the hardest position in all of football?

I think there is more to the Myron Burton Jr. story. MVP from A-Day and quits team before the season starts due to playing time.

I think most AU fans suggest he would make a better QB coach and no there is not enough history to back that up.

I think Winston and Manuel would disagree.

He's basically Trooper Taylor with a more delusional mindset. He also thinks he dresses well but in reality he looks like a used car salesman.

Everyone keeps saying this but Auburn board moderators and other reports say Craig while titled with coaching WRs didn't really get to Coach them with Gus being a control freak. Which is it?

He would be awful.

You would not want him.

He double dips his nachos.

He does not like steak.

He drives an electric car.

Really, you should not consider him.

LSU will be getting a damned good coach/recruiter, and a person that can relate to players better than most. The ultimate definition of a player's coach.

Auburn continues to fail this off-season.
