You mean the same board moderators that said Gus doesn't get involved with enough?

Btw, none of the Auburn posters here want him to leave, so,just keep that in my mind.

No, more character and respected by other coaches. He is just coaching out of position due to his recruiting abilities. Saban tried to hire him away from FSU for the same reasons. If he ever gets to coach QBs again, he will move up in the pecking order.

typical auburn responses saying the guy is no good now that he might leave. You do the same thing when a recruit doesnt go to your school. pathetic fan base :spank:

I don't read Auburn boards usually. Just this morning with the news so I don't know if they're right/wrong historically.

You mean the same Auburn fan base that would be pissed if Craig left?

You don't think we may be sharing some truth about his ability to coach WR's?

Auburn fans are still saying the same thing they have always said. He's a great recruiter and an average at best WR coach (most wanted him to be tried as a QB coach). None want him gone but none are crying about losing his ability to coach WRs.

Sorry, but no. DC is well liked by the AU fanbase. You would have gotten the same response from fans two months ago. Most do not blame him for the issues with the WRs, because he is well liked. He is out of position in coaching them, he should be the QB Coach.

I would be really pissed if LSU hires him as the QB Coach.

No Auburn fan will be excited about his exit...As there always are when things aren't going well there are a lot of rumors flying. Some believe this will be good for Auburn because he is part of the coaching chemistry issues, others believe Gus is a fool for letting him go. Mainly Auburn isn't excited about being 7-6/8-5 and Gus has to fix that with or without CDC.
