The reason Auburn doesn't have bandwagon fans is because nobody wants to cheer for the losing team.

Well I guess a few Auburn fans do live out in the trailer park with all the Bammers, its just a matter of probability in Alabama.

It's just a theme that they're using because most Auburn fans have some connection with the university rather than being just a "fan".

Some people disagree because they know or have friends that are just fans but they don't see the big picture. They just base it off of their personal opinion.

I have three times as many Auburn friends who have never even seen Auburn's campus and I've talked to plenty of people at Auburn games who didn't attend AU.

There are more Auburn fans in this world that people like to think.

Most auburn fans I know did not attend auburn, and being from Montgomery, I know A LOT of AU fans."Family" is just a title that au fans use to give themselves some added self worth, to make up for their insecurities towards Bama.

Grew up in North Alabama.

Dated an Aubie for 4 years. My best friend is an Aubie.

I would guess that about 70% of Auburn fans have a direct link to Auburn or their parents do. I would also say that the state of Alabama on an average year (not like last year or this year) is close to 65 35 in favor of Bama.

I don't where the hell your from, but your posts are disappointing. I dunno that I've disagreed with someone more outside of everybody's favorite BenchMcElroy.

Naturally there are going to be more 'Bama fans in North Alabama, but South Alabama is overflowing with AU fans and it has been this way for as long as I can remember. And by fans, I mean "fans" and not "alumni".

I live in the Southeast of alabama and I would say it is close 50-50 or maybe even more Auburn fans. We are only 2 hours from Auburn and like 4.5 hours fromm T-town so many from this part of the state are going to Auburn more than Alabama.

I didn't say that. I have friends that went to Bama also. But only because their parents went there and they have grown up a bama fan. But those who do not have ties to either school usually choose AU. This is Dothan if you are wondering.

Why would any AU fan have insecurity about a team we have been better than for 30 years now?
