Your stupidity on this issue has been pointed out to you multiple times by multiple people throughout this thread. You just refuse to accept it and continue blabbering on about God only knows what and thinking you have debunked the numerous attempts to point out to you why 2007 LSU is much more different, much more lucky, and much less deserving than any of the other BCS champions of that era.

we actually have gone 11-0, 13-0, and 14-0 since divisional play began. I'm not sure any other SEC team has done that.

Bama 13-0 1992
Bama 14-0 2009
Bama 11-0 1994 (prior to SECCG, so if Bama had been ineligible for the SECCG the way AU was in 1993, they too would have gone 11-0).

I'll take our trips to Atlanta and the big dance periodically along with some shite seasons. The worst thing you can ever be is mediocre. Not good enough to win it all, and not bad enough to make a change.

At least AU doesnt frick around with the middle ground. Not saying i like it, but those trips when the team is great are sure worth it.

What is all of that?

LSU got lucky and backed into the NC game in 2007. Just deal with it already.

Meh. Years like 2012 and this year just make the years like 2010 and 2013 even more sweet. Every couple of weeks I happen to think about the multiple championships I got to attend and get the stupidest grin on my face. I wouldn't trade it for much, honestly.

get off your duffs and prove that several other teams "deserved" it more than lsu. if you can't come up with any, then lsu "deserved" it meaning they were the best in the system and earned it as much as anyone can. calling it luck or backed in is just stupid and implies that every team that makes it in any bcs year was just lucky and backed in.

Still with this?

You are asking for prove of an argument that no one is making. You keep assuming that others are arguing because LSU got extremely lucky to backdoor its way into the game that we are asserting that others deserved to be there more than LSU.

You keep dancing around using the word "lucky" by using synonyms like "fortunate" and "rare." We know what you mean, you just choose not to use the word lucky.

The fact is that LSU lost 2 games in the regular season. Putting LSU in the position to need a lot of outside luck to get to the championship game. It is also a fact that Missouri or West Virginia would have gone to the game if had won thier games. That does not mean they were more deserving, they just happened to lose at the wrong time.

LSU also got lucky that UGA did not make the SECCG and that Missouri knocked off Kansas the week before. The things that had to align for LSU to make that game were as unbelievable and LSU was very lucky that it happened.

Spin it however you wish.
