Ellis Johnson can Trump any quality QB. Too bad it trumps his own teams QB.

Excellent thread to bring out the LSU trolls.

Good work son.

Yep What else would we do at this point in the year though?

Rank the towns in the SEC or tell everyone else who your second favorite SEC team is.

Or we could hop on the AU Softball bandwagon.

They are talented, most definitely, but we've yet to see if they're SEC material. I don't doubt they are. The sample size of each is between a little and none.

Yeah, Bateman really burned up the conference last year.

Wouldn't disagree with you....none of them have seen any real action except Bateman and his disaster half against Ole Miss....fortunately we have the ground game and skill players around to take the pressure off them...and Kiffin is the quarterback whisperer...so we will see.

Didn't see one yet today but after work I'll make a thread since I know everyone is dying to discuss it.

Since when did Alabama need a real good QB? Was AJ a real good QB? How many Natties have we picked up lately with "game managers"?

Jay Barker/Andrew Zow/Greg McElroy/AJ McCarron/Blake Sims/Jake Coker........This is who Bama has been winning national and conference titles with for much of my adulthood. QB's that are below average - absolute non-NFL caliber QBs. Forgive me if I'm not worried about the QB position.

Barker was good enough to make a NFL Roster for four year. If anything Stalling held him back with his Offense.

The rest were propped up by a good Defense.

Really? It'a real bitch winning national championships with "propped up" QBs.

The fans would just look at those totals every year and forgot to see how it was accomplished.
