To take a step back though, that's pretty damn incredible by 2 teams in the same state.

Last 3 seasons
Auburn : 126-23 (84.6%) (36-14) (72.0%)
Alabama : 121-29 (80.7%) (38-16) (70.4%)
Combined : 247-52 (82.6%), 74-30 (71.2%)

Well. Why do I keep hearing about Auburn then.

Why was Alabama and Georgia brought up in the first place then, when this thread was supposed to be about Auburn baseball and softball? It was your own fans that brought up Alabama.

Auburn is greater than Bama btw.

Congrats. Until you have a national title in softball, your program is #2 in the state. It isn't just about beating Alabama. I know this is hard for Auburn fans to understand, but beating your rival isn't the only accomplishment in sports. Auburn only has 1 more tournament appearance in softball than Alabama has NCAA WCWS appearances.

I didn't bring the two up. I'm just responding to hyper-sensitive bammers defending their program.

We're so predictable? lol

I vividly remember Auburn fans on this board making fun of the Alabama softball players in 2012 and how laughable it was that Alabama fans actually cared about the sport when someone here acknowledged the 2012 national championship. Fast forward a few years and Auburn goes to its first WCWS and all of a sudden my Facebook feed explodes with Auburn softball posts...lol. Suddenly and magically softball isn't a joke anymore. Same thing with U.S. News and World Report college rankings...for 5 years they were s### according to Auburn fans but this year they finally matter again....lol. I have to give it to you guys...y'alls ability to move the goalposts and your hypocrisy would make progressives, the DNC, and the MSM proud..lol

Same thing can be said about your bunch, Govtide. After the second loss to Auburn, the 85%ers tried to claim they didn't care about men's basketball. Anybody can point out the numerous hypocrisies from a large, loose group of fans with similar interests. Much less a whole fanbase.

Since Myers has gotten to Auburn, who has had a better softball program?

Let's see:

Myers arrived in '14, and has played for a national title. He has two NCAA WCWS appearances, 3 tournament appearances, and has won the conference tournament twice. Auburn has also beaten Alabama in the conference tournament twice.

That same period, Alabama has played for a national title, has been conference champions, 3 tournament appearances, and has 3 NCAA WCWS appearances.

Auburn (Clint is tops for sure.)

Now that we have gotten to the point of measuring the better program based on when a specific coach arrived on the scene, this thread should really deliver.

And who has eliminated Alabama in the SEC tournament two years in a row? Surely you're not this dumb.

Don't know who the 85% are supposed to be but almost all the Bama fans I spend time around absolutely care about basketball and weren't happy with Auburn sweeping us. Unlike you guys with softball and apparently this year baseball, we aren't going to pretend the sport just now exists because we finally became good at it. If Alabama suddenly becomes great or surpasses Auburn in swimming/diving we aren't going to start talking s### to Auburn fans out of respect for y'alls history...but I guess that's what big brother's do. We don't measure ourselves against y'all like you do us
