LSU can't replace us as a rival for the Gators.
Auburn no longer will have to suffer through playing Western teams that we don't care about.
It will be good for both schools, and the conference.

Gators and Auburn have a much longer history than with LSU.
The only thing I would miss is watching LSU fans eat their words as UF repeatedly whips their asses.
And I like living rent free in their heads too. Spurrier had it right. Score early and often. You can never run it up enough on LSU.

It was discussed in 1992 and started picking up steam in 2002 when we lost the Gators as a permanent yearly opponent.
