Are you saying Steele is a better DC than Muschamp?

LSU has a better defense

Auburn has a better team

It's obvious.

Is 16.4 points per game not lights out?

#4 in the SEC in scoring defense soon to be #3 come Sunday.

Auburn is also #4 in the conference and 24th in the nation in 3rd down defense.

If steele can just clean up allowing the big plays, this is near a championship defense even without the ability to rush the passer.

Auburn's schedule is harder for the first 5 games.

Except no.

Any bump you could claim from your schedule is smoothed over by playing Arkansas St and ULM. Also our offense sucked, possibly still sucks.

So what? We still played 2 top 10 teams in Clemson and A&M ( ) Hell Clemson might as well be the #1 team in the nation.

Comparing La Monroe and Missouri doesn't take anything away from Clemson and A&M being laughably tougher than UW and Miss St.

And A&M scored 29 points on yall.

So you had 1 good defensive game agains Clemson. A team who's QB is doing everthing he can not to be the #1 draft pick.

I am not saying y'all suck, but Steele sucks. And eventually y'all will get skull dragged.

Lights are not on among the Auburn coaching staff. Not a brain in the bunch. Still whipped Miles, I know, but who said he had any light up there?

Auburn coaching staff.

You have 3 of our former coaches who aren't particularly known for their stellar coaching ability.

I think we have very different views of what "lights out" means.

Well, you guys supposedly got rid of an anchor (Steele) and picked up one of the best DC's in the country and Auburn is giving up about 2.4 points more than LSU per game.

Les Miles was still calling the plays that's why the Auburn defense looked good.
