They'll be ok. IN fact, I agree, they might be the second best team in the SEC behind Alabama. (I can't quite make up my mind about Auburn or LSU being second best) The West has three really, really good teams.

So much dumb from AU fans in this thread. Every single game against an opponent with equal or better talent the last 3 years has seen an embarrassing performance. Every single excuse that I have seen and heard from Stidham, to OL, to WRs, to RBs to let's see what another QB can do is complete and utter horse shite.

It all falls on Gus and no AU fan should fault any one player or position group because they are frankly not being given a chance to gain an easy couple yards let alone do anything else.

Stidham is rightly shell shocked after getting torched in both games with no where to throw the ball....which brings me to WRs running middle school routes that don't move defenders or challenge multiple levels of the defense...which brings me to red zone offense always trying to hammer the ball in with the run no matter how many guys are in the box because their are no passing concepts that challenge a D....which brings me to the OL which are given no help and have to block for 4 or 5 sec to let routes that don't move defenders develop.

Yes, AU can continue to beat middling SEC teams because they DO HAVE TALENT but for some reason AU fans are clinging to those games as if that proves Gus can do it when everything else that we have seen the last 4 years clearly proves that teams with equal or better talent will not only stop that basic offense but will destroy it.

Like he tried to do with JF3?

Thats bullshite and you know it. JF3 was never that guy and everyone saw that. He needs to get the right pieces. Plus, we were rolling with the Sean White project when JF3 arrived.

God screw off man

Last year we played Clemson closely and everyone was surprised we were pissed when we lost.

Our coaching is costing us winnable football games because it is poor. We are wasting talent on defense worse than LSU did under Les right now (or at least, it's comparable). It's unacceptable.

He's had 5 recruiting cycles to get the pieces. At some point, all these QBs can't just all get chalked up to "busts." Other programs, SUCCESSFUL programs, know how to develop players or at least build the offense around what they have.

Season is over. It's clear that Gus can't handle the big time. He folded like a cheap tent against FSU when they should have blown them out for a national title. And it's gone down from there.

Time to look at who the next Auburn coach will be.

I think they bring back Gene.

Honestly I hope I'm wrong and Gus is a fraud. Makes it easier for UGA. I just have a hard time believing it.

If the game in Athens didn't tell you that, I don't know what will. Gus can't adjust. When he has injuries and can't ride his one trick pony, it's over.

Clemson exposed Auburn last night. Stidham dropped back and many times had enough time to throw but no one was open.

Their receivers could not get free. Clemson manned up on them and went after the QB .

What they really exposed is the fact that Malzahn can't design a passing offense.

Yes I watched some of the game. Did it get my full attention when the Georgia vs ND game was on. Of course not but 11 sacks, 117 total yards and Pettway averaging a whole 3.4 yards a carry says the oline did not play well.

Auburn would beat Notre Dame by three touchdowns so there's that...

Gus takes over play calling and is completely clueless. His red zone offense is one of the worst I've seen.

Not with the way that oline plays or with the way the offense plays.

Auburn needs a new QB and offensive line if they want to get better.
