No, he's always been a douchebag, its not a recent development.

Comparing Kiffin/Lebron on "going back home" is a bad, bad comparison.

They are good. They will always be "good" under Sumlin. They will recruit at a high level and have an offense that has the capability to come out and punch you across the chin. If your QB sucks it up (Thompson), you don't stand a chance. Without a QB, there's little way to continually counter the A&Ms of the world without a D that is built to stop them (LSU), and/or a D-line that gets constant pressure on the QB while pressing coverage, or an offense that's built to score quickly.

With that said, I expect AU/A&M to be a great game this year. O/U @ 70? Also, I enjoy Sumlin's style of play. I hope he can reign in the off the field issues, because I enjoy the stark contrast of a Sumlin/Saban.

Thank you. I think anyone with half a brain can see we looked like at least a 9 win type team last night, with the potential for more. That's a hell of a lot better than those saying we'd be lucky to win 7 games

your ooc sched is candy

that is 5 wins

ARK
MS State
Mizz

there is 8

Ole Miss is winnable for you

can you run the table or at least win one game against AU; LSU & Bama?

Nine wins looks pretty strong for Texas Aggies; as long as you don't screw the pooch...

Way more worried about MSU on the road than Ole Miss at home.

Nine wins happens as long as we just win the games we'll be favored in. I think we can definitely win one of LSU, Bama and Auburn to get to 10 wins.

It's just one game and we haven't seen how the rest of the SEC teams look yet.

But aTm looks pretty frickin' good.

Other than LSU I'm a big fan of USCe. Just don't like TAM, never have never will. But I'll give it to them they played off the charts last night and looked much improved over last year. I think JFF was as much of a distraction as he was a good QB.

However it was one game so we'll see. Lot of football left to play, especially in thevSEC west. They will be better than most, including me, thought they would be.

Look, this is pretty simple.

Aggy likely isn't as good as they looked last night, but they are a lot better than any of you guys thought.

SC likely isn't as bad as they looked last night, but they are a lot worse than any of you guys thought.

CFB is a matchup driven game. That was a great matchup for aTm, and a very poor one for SC. aTm was very well equipped to exploit SC's weaknesses. Some other teams won't be. Conversely, there are some other teams aTm will play that don't have shite DLs and DBs.

Lots of games to be played, but it's stupid not to give aTm any credit

You're right.
Once again, the Ags didn't know their place.
In reality, we were lucky to escape with a win.
Thanks for the gut check.

So Mizzou is an auto win for them now?

Lol, the idiocy constantly displayed on this board is astounding.

Do you guys never learn?

Wouldn't treat anything except the OOC as probable wins. But we showed we will compete well this year.

Play calling (new OC) is much improved. Losing Cam Clear early in the game hurt, but Spavital was able to adjust.

A&M came into the SEC with a defensive roster that was thin even by B12 standards, and lost a lot of that after 2012 season. The defense should continue to improve over the next couple of seasons as depth chart is rebuilt.

Nobody has seen Mizzu play yet but presumably, if A&M plays like they did yesterday, then no Mizzu won't beat them. Mizzu's front seven was the catalyst behind their run last year and those units took a big hit.

Oh, I'm giving you guys credit. I'm just saying that not every team you play will be that good of a matchup for you. I called that before the game, it was pretty obvious.

And while the defense did look improved. Y'all were a train wreck last year obviously. You still have some work to do there. Still gave up 433 yards to a team whose best player really didn't play and starts Dylan Thompson at QB. Again, better though and I don't blame y'all one bit for being very optimistic. All around impressive performance/
