An overhead view doesn't show you the steepness.

The overhead view was to show the exits. The other pics showed the steepness.

You know, instead of arguing this, you could have quietly checked it for yourself. You would have seen I was right on all accounts, and you wouldn't even have to acknowledge it.

The googling skills are rusty. Why don't you tell me how far the last seat is at both venues.

You're not watching the game from the outside of JH, so to proclaim it a hideous stadium is just hater sphew.
Auburn, LSU and Florida have the best stadiums , as far as overall atmosphere goes, IMO.

Ever been to a game at Kyle?

How weird.

UGA's stadium is acknowledged as not loud, but is considered beautiful? It's pretty atheistically ugly, really. UGA should be ranked high for gameday experience and it's a decent enough and pretty large stadium, but I just don't get this
I'm sure people have already called you out. And I know you hate UGA.

But, how is this not aesthetically appealing?

The homer glasses are more of a problem.

Based on measuring this pic. From the ground the last row of Tiger is 310-320.

Based on measuring this pic. From the ground the last row of Kyle is 280-290.

Now how did I do this? Measure the distance of the field and the distance of the field to the last row. Use the 160' field as a scale.

Obviously this isn't perfect. Far from it, but it presents much more data than anything you did.

If you to just "look at the pics" you can see how Kyle gets steeper per deck & the large overlap of of the decks.

Stopped reading right there, since it's an old pic, and you've added an end zone upper deck that hangs out over the sidewalk, unlike any seat at Tiger Stadium.

You really need to let this go. Texas A&M done an amazing job upgrading Kyle Field, but in some ways, in falls short of Tiger Stadium. You did, after all, have a lot of ground to make up.

There's really no excuse for Auburn to still have those erector set endzones.

The endzone has no effect on comparing the farthest seat from the sideline.

It overhangs because there is a building behind it. Its steeper than the north zone & has a shorter footprint.

Just admit you were mistaken on a few points earlier.

Their upper deck looks like the one LSU had and tore down.

Looks really old.

That picture really puts in perspective how steep Tiger Stadium's upper decks are compared to most stadiums. Dear God how did those things get past inspection

I thought I remember Auburn's being steeper.

Ok, first you ignore the visual evidence, then you try and exclude part of your stadium seating because this would clearly lose the argument for you right there.

This was what I said...

quote:

And overall, the seats at Tiger Stadium will be closer to the field, and be closer to exits.

I don't think that is an accurate statement.

You have no excuse here, since you even quoted my statement.

Agreed. I thought it looked nearly identical when I was at JHS a few years ago.

Seeing this picture reminded me that I've still never watched a game from the east upper.

I thought you meant first row. Which isn't the case. A&M will be closer than any other SEC stadium.

But later you referenced last row. So then I corrected you again.

Either way you are wrong.

I would be willing to bet the stands are closer to the field at thee Swamp than Kyle Field.
