That's fine. Now explain tWang in Woods Quad.

I can't. I was in school there when they first put it up. I just find it funny that there's a big dick right next to the women's studies building.

There has always been sculptures in that quad. I think there's 2 or 3 there right now. They change them out from time to time, but your mother's dido has been there for quite a few years.

I've always thought the statues around Athens were pretty cool. I'd like for USC/Columbia to do something similar with gamecocks around town.

those statues from the Co Op.

I don't care if it's Texas or San Diego State. Those are just GOLD.

*Well, because it's Texas, it was funnier.

Seriously, was the artist having a Terror period? Those statues look as if they are running for their very lives. They should be used in the next Sharknado.

Not sports related, but if the grotesque schlong can make the thread then so can Beetle Bailey having a beer and carving his name into a table.

And it's especially ridiculously for Cam to get a statue. He was there for one year.
He played for one year - but he's returned to AU to take classes for the past 2 yrs to earn his degree. He just graduated a few days ago.

Why are Cam and Bo running, with a ball, in full pads, without helmets? LOL

Bama actually has a ton of sculptures on campus. That could be a thread of it's own.

I was not expecting this kind of statue from LSU

I've never seen it, and the scenery around it is also unrecognizable to me. It doesn't even look like it's on campus.

But, I have to agree with the other posters, this one is pretty crappy.

It isn't...

If LSU faithful want to take a picture in front of the statue of Billy Cannon, the school's only Heisman Trophy winner, they have to drive off-campus to a gated apartment complex.

A few feet from a makeshift "apartment for rent" sign scrawled on notebook paper taped to a window is a small statue of Cannon and Warren Rabb. They are making a goal line tackle of Ole Miss quarterback Doug Elmore to preserve the Tigers' 7-3 victory on that unforgettable 1959 Halloween night in Tiger Stadium.

I havent read the whole thread so I'm sure people have already been laughing about it, but, I still cannot believe Auburn put up a statue of Cam Newton! The dude went to school there for less than a year and only went because he was kicked out of Flordia for theft. Id be extremely pissed off if my university wasted money on a statue for a thug that attended the school for a few months then bailed without a degree. That's something a damn community college would have to think twice before doing.

No, Cam Newton was only a member of the football team for a full calendar year. Cam Newton went to school at Auburn for at least 3 years and has a degree from Auburn University. He also wasn't kicked out of Florida, he transferred.

At Auburn we have statues of our Heisman winners. Sorry you don't understand that as an Arkansas fan. In Cam Newton's one full calendar year he succeeded in meeting our requirement of getting a statue outside of our football stadium. Why wouldn't we put up a statue? He also led Auburn to a national championship, something else you wouldn't know about as an Arkansas fan.

I think you're just jealous that in only one single football season Cam Newton accomplished more as an individual than Arkansas's entire football program has accomplished in over 100 years.
