My favorite pic of a statue was on the good ol fark board from the Oklahoma Sooners.
It was when they were erecting the statue of Bear Bryant and the statue was laying on its back with a giant bottle of Jack Daniels in its hand.

Just wait a few months. A&M is about to built like 30 new statues. Our stadium will be littered with them. I am not looking forward to it.

It's what the university claims and they commissioned it. I don't claim it, but Thomas was one of our best coaches. A shame that he had to retire early because of his illness. Could probably have another year or two up there (he should have 1945).
