Sheep fricking seems to be a common theme in the SEC. I just assumed they misunderstood "animal husbandry."

Is it because they drink soda pop?

Most of my family is from Missouri and they all drink soda pop. Some of them have moved to Texas and they drink their soda pop with lime.

They're not from St. Louis then. I have never heard anyone here use the word pop. Soda? Yep Coke? Yep Otherwise it's what they actually want...Dew, Dr. Pepper, whatever.

i'm afraid we are stuck with them now. its an awkward fit but we'll just have to make the best of it until they decide to grace us with their abscence.

Actually, most of them are from St. Louis or suburbs in Illinois.

I don't know what the "soda pop" reference is about, but I think it's a dated term. If it has any geographical identify, then that's unknown to me. When I was younger, I heard people say it all the time, but the only people I hear saying it today are senior citizens.

I wouldn't worry about it, because SEC fans love to stick nonsensical labels to their foes. For example, Louisiana has some of the finest cuisine in the nation, but we think they smell like corndogs. That's probably a better description for Aggies, since Texans love to fry everything.

MIZZOU is just like Arkansas, why would you leave the best conference in the country. Arkansas has never won the SEC in Football but we will keep trying and keep supporting our Hogs and Mizzou will do the same. I'm looking foreword to us and Mizzou playing each other.

The Big Ten didn't want Missouri and will not want them in the future. The SEC can have them.

And tell me again why we'd ever want to leave a conference that even sticks up for it's retarded cousin?

Didn't they say the same thing about Nebraska when Penn State was added? Regardless, here's to hoping that they one day regret that decision.

I have been to yankee grocery stores. There are entire aisles dedicated to nothing but "Pop". MO seems to be divided between soda and pop:

I've read on Mizzou boards that the Big X came after them in their most recent expansion raid. Delaney and Co. wanted Maryland and Mizzou. Mizzou said "frick you," so the jilted Big X settled for Rutgers.

Don't worry what others think. Just do your thing and you will win games. Y'all are just going to gave to go the Ark/USC route and build your program. Our rilvary will take off once you win a game of two. Losing tends to fuel hatred between teams.
