In all fairness A&M did make some strides on D earlier in the season and played decently at times. They ran out of gas, maybe conditioning needs to be looked at.

Chavis owes it; not A&M. last year, the aggies may have paid it if it was settled but after this year I have a feeling the indian giver is on his own.

LSU will get the full $400,000. That'll make up for the $200,000 A&M owes LSU for backing out of the series in the 90s.

son, this is a great moment on the rant.

Kevin Sumlin has become predicable.
2016 A&M offense in loses:

Umm... A&M's offense scored 39. 18 points more than #2 Ole Miss, 29 more than Bama. Yeah the offense looked inept for a lot of the game, but this wasn't the offense's fault. The A&M defense was putrid.

Mike MacIntyre

Chad Morris

Ken Niumatalolo

Willie Taggart

One of these guys will solidify himself as a top candidate next year.

What is a 3rd down conversion. Is that a new name for the sack jermery Johnson takes before the punt?

Chavis is fricking terrible. What a blessing for LSU getting rid of him

Then why are y'all paying us the $200,000 buyout?

How many games were on that contract?

What are you talking about? LSU cancelled the series in the 90s because the financial ramifications dealing with moving to 8 conference games.

“I inherited a 10-year contract with LSU and Texas A&M, which is unusual. You don’t see that a lot,” explained Joe Dean Sr., LSU athletic director from 1987-2001, in a recent interview.

“What happened, and I was responsible for it to be honest, was we went from seven league games to eight league games,” Dean continued. “And it put a strain on us when we had to go there (to College Station). We needed that extra home game for financial reasons.”

Dean went on to explain that LSU, which cut the contract off with two years remaining, had to pay $100,000 to do so. He also lamented the death of the A&M rivalry, but added that his was a common predicament in the early-nineties with conferences changing and taking shape.

We also got Texas A&M a game with USL which knocked A&M out of the Top 25 ranking.

I'll pay the Gaggies $400k if they promise to keep Chavis & Sumlin for 5 more years.
