Playoff is coming to Colllege Football and if teams are going to be selected by committee we need all the teams in the SEC to be strong as it would give us merit as to why we should be invited to be in the playoff.

Petrino will be in the Pac-12 in 2013 if the world doesn't end in December. And nobody will give a crap about his personal life (see: Kiffin, Lane).

Yeah, of all the things about Kiffin, his personal life is the one thing I cant fault him for. He's tapping the hottest coaches wife in football. Kudos to that guy.

i thought the rumor was he was driving around with a coed the night he wrecked his lexus (or whatever the car was). didn't the dealership sue him when he left?
this could have all been mb rumors though.

I'm usually against message board rumors, but when it's about a coach that left, I'm all about it.
I remember hearing this:
And that Kiffin was staying in the downtown apartment as both he and Layla were separated and seeing other people. She wanted to move back to LA where their personal lives weren't under a microscope. (I'm not sure but I think the pictures of him and Tomlin were suppose to be at that apartment.)
That's football tabloid fodder though, and I don't really believe it.

I could be wrong but after having family that have worked for the University of Arkansas. He is on suspension until the details of his complete dismissal can be worked out.
I hate to say it but I think he is gone unless the boosters and some powerful money people get involved to change the direction of the titanic.

IF he is gone, do you think they checked first to see who would come and if a good coach said yes then they were more willing to let him go?

Coaches and coaches agents have been calling since this happened so I think that will not stop, it is after all up to a 3-4 million dollar year job, but I think we go interim coach if we do fire him.
